“Overall it's been a very interesting year in the venture scene in the U.S. and Israel. And I think what I'm seeing in Israel is there's a lot of capital looking for great companies, a lot of funds raised capital in 2021 in 2022, and are looking for great companies to invest in,” said Eyal Bino, Founding Partner at 97212 Ventures.
97212 is a New York-based fund investing in Israeli startups and Israeli founders, in the U.S. at the pre-Seed or Seed stage. It is an agnostic fund investing between $250,000-750,000 as a first check. Its core focus is to help companies and founders move from ‘0 to 1’ by providing access to the 1st U.S. customers, the venture scene in the U.S., and in New York specifically, building the company from the ground up.
“I think what I'm seeing is a flow of really good founders for coming out of the woodwork and taking the chance and looking at the climate right now and saying, ‘OK, this is a really good time for us to build the company despite the war, despite everything that's going on’. And obviously, we're pretty excited about about that development.”
