"We are currently seeing a significant change in the world of technology. We are entering a new cycle, one that will change the world. And of course, we are talking about artificial intelligence," said Kevin Cochran, CMO at Vultr, at the Calcalist and Bank Leumi conference in Miami. "Each cycle is based on its predecessor. Ten years ago, we witnessed the cloud revolution, which created a new architecture in the corporate world and in the technology sector in general. Now, we are entering a whole new cycle with artificial intelligence. This is a cycle that presents an opportunity for companies to create significant change across industries and become leaders in their fields, and we are here to help them."
Vultr is a company that provides cloud infrastructure to other companies, offering access to significant computing power needed for artificial intelligence. This includes Nvidia graphics processors (GPUs) — the most sought-after processors in the world for training and running AI models. These processors are expensive and in short supply, making them difficult for startups, especially those in their early stages, to obtain. Purchasing them can also be prohibitively costly. Vultr's platform allows companies to use these processors without having to buy them. "I think we’ve all learned three important lessons in recent years about entrepreneurship and building great companies: you need to think creatively, solve big problems, and show resilience and strength. Everyone must think boldly. Companies need to do everything they can to reinvent their industry so it no longer looks like it did before. We believe we provide companies with the best platform to do this. We offer them AI models that can be used for product development and refinement. We provide them with cloud models and powerful processors, which allow them to scale globally. We’re effectively democratizing access to computing power through our platform, enabling companies to operate globally from day one."
Because of this, Cochran believes, "We can connect the ecosystem of tech companies in Miami with the ecosystem of tech companies in Israel. We promise to provide the infrastructure for creating a new digital experience. We’ve been in this business for ten years, and we are building a new global architecture. We’re doing this here in Miami, where we are already making a significant impact, and we’re also doing it in Tel Aviv, where we recently made an investment. We give entrepreneurs the tools they need to pursue their dreams and change the world. I believe the future is bright and promising for the Tel Aviv ecosystem."
