The Israel Innovation Institute appoints Rotem Trivizki as CEO of PLANETech

“Rotem’s extensive experience in innovation, regulation, and climate adaptation, coupled with her passion and commitment to advancing practical solutions to the climate crisis, make her an ideal leader to take PLANETech to new heights,” said Dr. Jonathan Manochin, CEO of the Israel Innovation Institute. 

The Israel Innovation Institute has announced it has appointed Rotem Trivizki as CEO of PLANETech, a nonprofit climate technology innovation community in Israel. PLANETech was established as a joint initiative of the Israel Innovation Institute and CBS (Consensus Business Group) to advance Israel’s and the global ecosystem’s ability to address climate change challenges. Former CEO Noam Sonnenberg will lead new climate initiatives abroad, expanding activities to create new opportunities for the Israeli ecosystem.

Trivizki brings more than a decade of experience in driving climate-related initiatives from concept to implementation, with a focus on transformative innovation. In her most recent role, she served as Director of Innovation and Coastal Development for the Tel Aviv-Jaffa coastline under the Tel Aviv Municipality. Before that, she was a project manager at the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel.
PLANETech connects diverse stakeholders in the climate space including startups, investors, researchers, governments, and companies, to foster the development and adoption of climate technologies. It promotes collaboration, drives investment, educates the market, and supports technology integration across industries.
